Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Engine Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial engines and related equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work in various industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on industrial engines to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot engine issues, including low voltage problems
- Perform repairs and replacements of engine components as needed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex engine problems
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations while working on engines
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- 99% Travel time
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in industrial mechanics or related field is preferred
- Proven experience as an Industrial Engine Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engine systems
- Proficient in analyzing engine performance using diagnostic tools
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience in field service or industrial maintenance is highly desirable
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to perform stick welding for minor repairs is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Note: Military experience as an industrial mechanic may be considered in lieu of formal education or certification.
