Under the guidance and direction of the Dean of Workforce Development, the Executive Director of Educational Pathways including College Credit Plus, Aspire and Tech Prep. In addition to these duties, the Executive Director will lead and maintain. Perform academic advising activities for on-campus CCP students; Provide leadership to ASPIRE and Tech Prep programs.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the College’s Concurrent Enrollment Program (College Credit Plus).
- Coordinate all Hocking College courses offered on partner high school and career center campuses
- Maintain concurrent enrollment student records
- Ensure the College and partner schools are adhering to Ohio Department of Education and Ohio Department of Higher Education regulations and compliance
- Coordinate data reporting efforts on behalf of the College with IT staff, the Office of Workforce Development, the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Development, and the Registrar
- Collaborate with post-secondary and secondary partners to develop and implement new Career Pathways
- Identify new CCP partners
- Attend state-wide Concurrent Enrollment meetings
- Coordinate CCP Professional Development Workshops for CCP instructors
- Coordinate and/or attend CCP information nights, advising workshops, and classroom observations
- Provide advising services to CCP students who are engaging in on-campus courses at Hocking College
- Serve as the institutional liaison to all state-wide College Credit Plus functions
- Provide leadership for the ASPIRE Program. ASPIRE Coordinator reports to this position.
- Provide leadership for the Tech Prep program. Tech Prep Coordinator reports to this position.
- Lead and maintain CCP Accreditation thru NACEP
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Qualifications – Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent field, Master’s Degree Preferred
- 3 years of recent experience in higher education or secondary education
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong technology skills including usage of Microsoft Office, email, student information system, and learning management system
- Organizational, record-keeping, and interpersonal skills.
