Workforce Analyst analyzes and evaluates workforce metrics to improve human resources capacity planning and maximize labor utilization rates. Utilizes hiring, sourcing, attrition, and productivity metrics to provide actionable insights about the current and future states of a workforce. Being a Workforce Analyst applies predictive models and methods to develop short and long-term forecasts.     Minimum qualifications:

    • Option 1 (Experience Only): Six years of professional experience
    • Option 2 (Education and Experience): A Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant professional experience OR An Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience working with electronic health record systems or other cloud-based systems

    Responsibilities:

    • Makes determinations and recommendations regarding data reporting and analyses with administrative review (supervisor) and acts independently based on the full knowledge of the unit’s activities and missions.
    • Uses analyses and data to explain and predict changes in the MHTL programmatic areas.
    • Interprets results of these analyses and provides explanations for variances in the measures used.
    • Decides the best approach to resolving data discrepancies found, which may include investigating and providing guidance to correct data entry errors, or determining system limitations, and making needed updates or requesting modification by other technical staff.
    • Develops reports that include determined summaries and conclusions.

    Job description:

    Working as a member of the OCFMH Data and Evaluation Team, this position provides professional analytical services to the OCFMH Mental Health Transitional Living (MHTL) Homes regarding key clinical services and operations. This position elicits requirements from the above-mentioned departments to conduct analyses and generate metrics that are utilized to measure and forecast patient progression to restoration and assist those departments in making modification to treatment coordination and procedures to better align with their targets and goals. Utilizing patient safety, incident, legal, and competency-restoration data, the position creates or generates data quality and ad-hoc management/analysis tools, data extracts, visualizations and reports. In collaboration with the BITS Health Information Technology (HIT) Team, the position analyzes treatment data across systems and compiles the information into reports and dashboards that aim to assist departments in improving care coordination, streamlining departmental processes, and minimizing administrative delays to patient care.
