GENERAL PURPOSE
Applications are being accepted for a Workforce Sales Coordinator at Northwest State Community College. The Workforce Sales Coordinator works in the area of business development and is responsible for growing business partnerships, and assisting with the sales of workforce development solutions to establish, grow, and retain new accounts. This position will help implement strategies to increase sales and generate revenue that represents the full range of Northwest State Community College classes and Custom Training Solutions. The Workforce Sales Coordinator will promote brand in the community to generate interest and services, while serving as a community resource and liaison for Northwest State Community College. This position will also have an emphasis with business and industry in Paulding and Van Wert counties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meet established and targeted performance goals for business development.
2. Implement strategic plans and forecasts that meet established and targeted performance goals for strategic sales plans and revenue generation.
3. Assist with conducting needs assessments/diagnostic sales calls with prospective clients for the purpose of developing proposals for customized training.
4. Achieve established and targeted performance goals for profit/loss ratio and market share.
5. Assist with generating new local and national clients through research, cold calls, outreach and other marketing/sales initiatives.
6. Collaborate with staff to identify and market to industry trends.
7. Utilize pricing tool, accounting for all project expenses and market rates.
8. Review reports and analytical materials to ensure attainment of objectives that meet client required deadlines.
9. Deliver competitive proposals to current and prospective clients, meeting established and targeted performance goals for profitability.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
