Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Under the direction of the Administrator, a registered nurse who provides, assists in direction, and manages the support of financial and operational functions of certified and private duty according to Federal, State, corporate regulations and CHAP standards. Assists in the planning, budgeting, implementing, strategy and quality of certified and private duty functions. Provides oversight and support to staff as necessary for daily program operations as well as internal administrative support; serves as a community representative to promote the Programs as a vital component of the agencys mission.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. BLS (AHA) certification required 2. Completion of an RN program from an accredited School of Nursing 3. Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Masters Degree preferred. 4. Minimum five (5) years nursing experience. 5. Current Drivers License and vehicle highly preferred 6. Current and valid RN License 7. Strong public speaking and demonstrate commitment and organization skill 8. Home Health Experience, with supervision experience preferred.
