Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Being a Wound Care Services Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Responsible for the education of clinical staff. Additionally, Wound Care Services Director requires a MD degree. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants licensed in Texas for full-time and part-time positions who are interested in providing mobile care.
This position requires you to use your car to drive to patient locations within a 100-mile radius of your city. Scheduling is very flexible and compensation is great!

Job Responsibilities:
● Provide hands on care to patients in a home setting.
● Administer medications and provide treatment to the patient under physician orders.
● Must be able to identify changes in the patient’s condition and evaluate their care needs.
● Strong focus assessment skills as well as documentation skills.
● Must be able to evaluate and participate in the development of the plan of care.
● Monitor the patient’s overall condition and provide care as required
● Ensure that patients receive appropriate treatment which can include weekly assessments.
● Wound Dressings, Debridement, and Biopsy Services.
Knowledge / Experience:
● Minimum 4 years of experience in primary care or related specialty
● No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
● NP or PA Certification
● Active state license in good standing
● Active DEA Certificate, preferred, but not required
● Current malpractice insurance
● Availability for 8-24 hours per week
