Global Open Wound Care is a mobile wound care clinic specializing in chronic wound care. Our headquarters are in Southlake TX and we are looking for a Nurse Practitioner for Tyler TX and surrounding areas!
Our providers travel to the patient and collaborate with home health agencies and other healthcare professionals for treatment plans. We are looking for a part time nurse practitioner who enjoys their days to be different and has exceptional time management skills. We will supply you with all the materials you will need for successful treatment. Home health experience a plus. NextGen and eClinicalWorks experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and medical imaging
- Complete chart notes, pictures and orders
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Provide counseling and education to patients on wound care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide specialized care for patients with chronic, open wounds
- Provide care for patients including adults and elderly patients
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting
- Experience in wound care is preferred
