Wound Care Services Director directs the programs and staff of the wound care services department. Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care

Our specialized team has over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive wound care throughout New England with locations in Turnes Falls, Athol, Easthampton, Westfield and coordinates with many Nursing Homes in the Western Massachusetts area.

Job Responsibilities:
· Provide on-site care to the patient including assessments, debridement, wound dressings, and culture swabs
· Prescribe medications and provide treatment to the patient
· Must be able to identify changes in the patient condition and evaluate their care needs
· Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
· Must be able to evaluate and participate in the development of the Patient Plan of Care
· Monitor the patient’s overall condition and provide care as necessary while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience Requirements:
· 2 years of NP experience in a procedural environment (i.e. urgent care, wound care, specialist medical office).
· Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program. Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Massachusetts.
· Wound care certification or experience preferred
· DEA License
