Develops and implements wound care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Being a Wound Care Services Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Responsible for the education of clinical staff. Additionally, Wound Care Services Director requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires license to practice medicine. The Wound Care Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Wound Care Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     This DHCS role will serve as the leader and guide for all clinical and business-related decisions for the office.

    General Purpose:

    Responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of all clinical and paraprofessional services in accordance with the core values of Interim HealthCare. Primary responsibilities include ensuring qualified employees and contractors provide patient care and paraprofessional services in accordance with applicable law and regulations and accepted standards of care, as well as Interim HealthCare policies and procedures.

    Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

    • Registered Nurse licensed in the state(s) in which he/she practices, BSN preferred.

    • 3 years of home health care experience managing caregivers within the last 5 years.
    • Proof of current auto insurance.
    • Proof of Covid Vaccine, medical exemption or religious exemption
