We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ordering parts, scheduling appointments, giving estimates, and recommending appropriate services. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our automotive service center.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the service center
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
- Provide detailed estimates for services, including parts and labor costs
- Explain recommended services to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs or maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, work performed, and payments received
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain cash register accuracy
- Scheduling appointments and assisting with managing the service center's workflow

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive service writing or a related role is required
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for estimating and invoicing purposes
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, and a self-starter with the ability to complete work in a timely manner without constant supervision
- Basic math skills for accurate estimation and payment processing
