eCommerce Customer Support Manager manages a team of service representatives that respond to customer inquiries via live chat. Ensures that service standards are established and attained. Being a eCommerce Customer Support Manager responds to and resolves escalated issues. Monitors and analyzes service activity data and utilizes findings to develop training and service improvement resources. Additionally, eCommerce Customer Support Manager coaches team members on best practices for responding to inquiries. Reports customer feedback, trends, and issues to stakeholders and collaborates to recommend solutions or suggest changes to website, products, or services. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The eCommerce Customer Support Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a eCommerce Customer Support Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     This Ecommerce  Associate Customer Manager II will be responsible for directing and coordinating strategic digital marketing activities for Omni channel retail partners to drive digital commerce sales and share of McCormick portfolio of brands. 

     

    This position will have overall responsibility for the media budgets, profitability, promotion, pricing, media, distribution, merchandising, research and new product plan for key retail partners.  Additional this position will recommend Omni Channel Digital Shelf and Merchandising National Strategy.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage annual budgets for digital commerce at key retailers.
    • Identify and implement annual digital commerce plans for key retailers.
    • Manage relationships with key retailer’s ecommerce, digital, and shopper marketing contacts.
    • Attends account calls and presentations in support of Digital/ e-Commerce and omnichannel shopper programs
    • Leads analysis and annual planning for all Digital, shopper and E-Commerce Marketing events at key retailers
    • Responsible for recommendations relating to leveraging underperforming trade and national shopper marketing funds.
    • Provide strategic and tactical coordination with digital media vendors such as media agency shopper marketing agency, ad network vendors, sponsored search vendors and retailer digital commerce departments
    • Develop and delivers business presentations to customers or senior leadership.
    • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to ensure that retailer digital commerce plans align with National brand and media strategies.
    • Assesses and monitors effectiveness of digital programs / ROAs and incorporates digital media evaluation into MMA where feasible
    • Serves role of ecommerce and omni channel digital commerce expert for Field Sales and key retailers
       

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field
    • Experience in  digital marketing and ecommerce
    • Demonstrated relevant skills and results in digital marketing or closely related field 
    • Strong project leadership experience with ability to manage multiple projects
    • Sound understanding of concepts, principles and practices in Marketing (functional expert) and a basic knowledge in other areas including Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
    • Deep understanding of the industry sector and competitive landscape
    • Developed communication and diplomacy skills required to guide, influence, and convince others (internal and external); often customer-facing; interactions with senior leadership.
    • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication and teamwork skills
