eCommerce Customer Support Manager manages a team of service representatives that respond to customer inquiries via live chat. Ensures that service standards are established and attained. Being a eCommerce Customer Support Manager responds to and resolves escalated issues. Monitors and analyzes service activity data and utilizes findings to develop training and service improvement resources. Additionally, eCommerce Customer Support Manager coaches team members on best practices for responding to inquiries. Reports customer feedback, trends, and issues to stakeholders and collaborates to recommend solutions or suggest changes to website, products, or services. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The eCommerce Customer Support Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a eCommerce Customer Support Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • The Account Manager will build and maintain customer relationships while providing solutions pertaining to McLeod Software. Also, the Account Manager will work in conjunction with the internal support teams with the goal of resolving any issues for a customer or identifying appropriate modifications that may be needed to meet the customers’ needs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Serve as the primary and central point of contact for all account related activities and updates
    • Manage all Help Desk and Support related situations for assigned accounts
    • Conduct regular, proactive review of and communication with customers on open items
    • Responsible for continuous growth in technical understanding and skills
    • Identify specific opportunities for improvements to business processes, training, upgrades, modules, interfaces, etc. 
    • Understand and document basic architectural environment, business operation, and company profile for each assigned customer
    • Inform management of any significant new or events related to customers
    • Participate in customer billing review and assist with resolving billing issues/disputes as needed
    • Train fellow team members

    Competencies:

    • A minimum of two years’ experience providing technical support to end users (hardware and software support)
    • Knowledge of business accounting principles preferred
    • Experience with one or more of the following DBMS (SQL Service, Oracle, DB2)
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team
    • Excellent analysis and assessment of business needs and cross-system impacts
    • Working knowledge of the transportation industry preferred
