eCommerce Customer Support Manager manages a team of service representatives that respond to customer inquiries via live chat. Ensures that service standards are established and attained. Being a eCommerce Customer Support Manager responds to and resolves escalated issues. Additionally, eCommerce Customer Support Manager coaches team members on best practices for responding to inquiries.   • Summary/Objective

    Family-owned and operated for five generations, Stauffer Glove & Safety, a distributor leader in the safety and PPE products industry is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Evansville, IN.

    This individual is self-motivated with a strong customer focus and a sense of urgency. Responsible for providing onsite customer service representation; which includes taking product orders, addressing inquiries on existing products, order status, and maintaining vendor-managed inventory. This role operates in a warehouse environment, routinely using standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, and other material-handling tools.

    This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Shift times are based on business needs and are specific to each branch location.

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for providing onsite customer service support to established customer base as identified by the customer.
    • Responsible for entering purchase requisitions for existing products received from the customer.
    • Ensure that customers’ orders are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner and research any orders that are delayed for the customer.
    • Ensure all new product inquires including request for quotes and technical support inquiries are communicated in a timely manner to the assigned Outside Account Manager.
    • Assist Customer with any E-Market product requests or concerns.
    • Provide back up support to Lead Customer Service Representative on all customer orders.
    • Assist Lead Customer Service Representative with any return orders.
    • Maintain the vendor managed inventory areas.
    • Ensure established min and max inventory levels are accurate and that any product below the required min level is replenished.
    • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    • Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 65 lbs., climb ladders, and work on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other moving apparatus.
    • Ability to walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
    • Work in an uncontrolled temperature environment and in a controlled temperature environment.
    • The position requires that an individual is able to obtain a medical certification according to DOT regulations and must maintain the certification in order to perform the essential duties of this position.

    Travel

    • Local daily travel is a requirement of this position.

    Required Education and Experience

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and able to operate large vehicles (Standard Vans o 24’ box trucks)
    • Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Prefer 2 or more years’ experience in a large distribution and inventory environment.
    • Knowledge or experience working with a warehouse management system.
