    The Dish Retail Manager is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by building a reputation for Ultimate Service. He/She is an enthusiastic sales leader who efficiently oversees the daily operations of the Dish Retail specialty store.



      When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest

    • Responsible for staffing, scheduling and managing the Dish team members during the designated dish retail hours

    • Responsible for all aspects of our Dish merchandise. This involves all re-ordering product, some initial purchasing, merchandising the product, maintaining a balanced inventory, implementing sales promotion, working with the Receiving Manager, communicating with vendors, and assisting guests with purchases

    • Responsible for attending all weekly store meetings

    • Responsible for guest relations and special order guest requests

    • Responsible for maintaining team spirit and a cooperative attitude

    • Responsible for implementing Dish seasonal merchandising plans within the department and store end caps

    • Responsible for maintaining close communications with the Dish Supervisor, the Store Director and all other Dish managers

    • Responsible for organizing all purchase orders, packing slips, transfer sheets, invoices and related paperwork

    • Responsible for the cleanliness of the Dish work area, the attractive merchandising of displays and the maintenance of the Dish back stock area

    • Responsible for training/continuing education regarding products in Dish

    • Responsible for monitoring Sales and Gross Profit Goals

    • Other duties as assigned by upper management


    Key Responsibilities:


      Must be 18 years of age or older

    • High school diploma required, college graduate preferred

    • The Department Manager is required to work the scheduled work shift as needed to meet the needs of the store guests and team members

    • Experience working in a multi-tasking environment - retail experience is preferred

    • Ability to manage a department and provide guest service within a fast paced store

    • Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting at a height of 5 feet, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking

    • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs

    • Ability to problem solve and think pro-actively

    • Ability to appreciate, understand and sell high-end merchandise and have a pleasant, out-going personality

    • Basic computer skills

    • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
