eCommerce Manager manages the development, deployment, and maintenance of e-commerce websites. Oversees e-commerce site developers to ensure that e-commerce sites are built and expanded based on evolving technology and business needs. Being an eCommerce Manager creates and implements processes and procedures for integrating e-commerce sites with backend systems, including pricing, inventory, and customer relationship databases. Requires knowledge of common web development languages (e.g., HTML, Java, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET, Python, AJAX.) Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, eCommerce Manager typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The eCommerce Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Online Store Management & Site Merchandising:

    Develop and implement e-commerce sales and marketing strategies to increase online revenue and profitability on Shopify Platform. Improve core site performance metrics like CVR, AOV, load speeds, bounce rate, time on page, etc.

    Leverage web analytics and heat mapping tools to understand site performance and customer interaction with site content to identify opportunities for optimizations. Maintain strong understanding of customer data (abandoned cart, top products, AOV, hot pages) to guide marketing strategies

    Define and manage customer website experience including shop flow/UX, presentation, refreshing of content, visual merchandising, functionality, responsiveness, and performance

    Maintain awareness of e-commerce trends; implement best practices in navigation, search/filtering, checkout experience, digital customer journeys, etc. Implement and own sitewide A/B testing program

    Monitor site and make changes based on inventory, web sales, and promotions in coordination with marketing

    Develop and expand on-site programs (i.e. subscription, loyalty program, bundled products) that build the business and increase customer satisfaction

    Oversee website agency relationship and site development roadmap

    Develop & analyze all weekly, monthly, quarterly reports including selling, site metrics, product insights, and shop performance recaps to highlight trends to react quickly to needs, voids, and opportunities within the e-commerce business.

    New Product Build-Out:

    Partner with product development and marketing teams to prepare product pages for launch across platforms

    Ensure product pages are SEO ready (title tags and metadata), tagged, and categorized

    Registry Management:

    Develop and improve the registry program with the support of the customer care team

    Provide analytics and projections about registry performance and demand

    Regularly review and improve the registry content

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in marketing, e-commerce, business administration, or a related field

    Proven experience in e-commerce management in a B2C environment

    Extensive knowledge and experience with e-commerce platforms, specifically Shopify and its supporting tech stack

    Proven track record of driving online sales growth and profitability

    Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings

    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and leverage insights to optimize performance

    Solid project management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

    Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

    A proactive and creative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and identify opportunities for growth
