eCommerce Manager manages the development, deployment, and maintenance of e-commerce websites. Oversees e-commerce site developers to ensure that e-commerce sites are built and expanded based on evolving technology and business needs. Being an eCommerce Manager creates and implements processes and procedures for integrating e-commerce sites with backend systems, including pricing, inventory, and customer relationship databases. Requires knowledge of common web development languages (e.g., HTML, Java, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET, Python, AJAX.) Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, eCommerce Manager typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The eCommerce Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     ​We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Manager who is passionate about effective digital and buyer journey strategies who wants to be a part of driven and energetic global marketing team. 

    ​The eCommerce Manager will oversee and manage the success of Lumivero’s software products within our e-commerce platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of strategies by inspecting standardized metrics.  

    ​The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the e-commerce industry, digital marketing, and website development. They must have an analytical mindset and understand the 'why' behind the data and always seeking ways to continuously improve our process. An effective collaborator, this person must be able to build strong relationships with their team and our vendors. 

    This role reports to the Director Marketing & Strategy Operations. It is full-time, exempt, and remote in the USA. 

    Responsibilities

    • ​Manage the daily operations of Lumivero’s e-commerce platforms for existing and new products, including but not limited to product updates, content creation, customer service, and troubleshooting.  
    • ​Direct day to day website management, recommendations for improvement for responsive design, implementation of enhancements, and achieving website revenue goals, and website KPIs.  
    • ​Understand and map the consumer journey to optimize opportunities that help increase sales, engagement, and meet conversion and revenue goals. 
    • ​Develop and implement an online marketing strategy to increase website traffic and sales.  
    • ​Analyze and report on customer data and website analytics to identify trends and opportunities to improve the customer experience. 
    • ​Provide recommendations for improvements to website strategy based on company-wide goals that support the brand's marketing and e-commerce short- and long-term revenue goals and initiatives.  
    • ​Actively investigate known or suspected issues (bug reports, outages, etc.) and work with respective teams to resolve. 
    • ​Measure key performance metrics in Google Analytics and other available tools (abandonment, conversion, etc.) and identify important performance trends and areas of opportunity to grow the business. 
    • ​Analyze and measure brand and vanity website functionality, identify areas of friction and obstacles for website visitors and present results to upper management regularly. 
    • ​Collaborate with the marketing team to create display, email, & social media campaigns. 
    • ​Collaborate with SEO/SEM for shop optimization. 
    • ​Manage vendor relationships with applicable technology and marketing partners and escalate and document opportunities and/or service problems with recommended solutions. 

    Requirements

    • ​Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. Can substitute a combination of education and relevant work experience. 
    • ​5 years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing. 
    • ​Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics. 
    • ​Proficient in Wordpress, WooCommerce; HTML and CSS preferred.
    • ​Excellent written and verbal communication skills​.

    • Track record of working collaboratively on a team.

    Salary 
    • $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
    • This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus.
