JOB PURPOSE:
Perform functions to act as the strategic owner for all eCommerce activities for a collection of furniture manufacturing companies by developing “best in class” strategy and execution to maximize the long-term eCommerce revenue potential of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build a forward-thinking eCommerce team to maximize the growth potential of the brands within an eCommerce environment over time.

Build and maintain a best-in-class commerce-enabled web property that can generate and sustain an annual revenue stream of $20M .

Continually monitor and analyze KPIs to optimize eCommerce performance. Must be capable of eventually supervising an ecommerce analyst to mine existing data for insights,

Provide recommendations to improve performance, updating various key stakeholders where and when appropriate.

Develop an overall eCommerce corporate strategy that includes direct-to-business branded websites, etailers (i.e. Amazon, WM.com), and Omni-Channel retailers (i.e. Walmart.com) that allows for co-existence and success.

Oversee and optimize Amazon product listings using expertise of keyword research, Amazon algorithms, marketing programs (AMG, AMS, VPC, etc), and search rankings.

Develop and nurture relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers for both marketing and sales.

Develop and execute a consumer value proposition that minimizes the cannibalization with other eCommerce channels, specifically etailers.

Design and execute a differentiated, compelling, and relevant content marketing strategy across the various eCommerce channels that align with the brand’s messaging.

Create effective product pages to drive “best in class” engagement and conversion and determine how to scale content while maintaining customization specific to each channel’s needs.

Drive customer engagement to generate positive reviews and ratings for all products, addressing and resolving negative reviews.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
Experience and/or Training:

5 years of eCommerce experience which includes:
-
Understanding current web development platforms and tools with the ability to create a technical roadmap for eCommerce in conjunction with IT.

Knowledge of using digital advertising to drive traffic and conversions.

5 years of experience managing a team.
-
Demonstrated experience working in a matrix organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree in business administration (MBA)
Experience and/or Training:

Experience in launching B2B, including tax and payment requirements, inventory management, and ERP integration.

Knowledge of launching new products and various digital syndication tools online.

Technology/Equipment: Working knowledge of Shopify.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
Sitting for long periods of time, 6-8 hours per day. Walking, speaking, hearing seeing. Listen and observe the environment for hazard prevention. Use hands for tools and typing. Semi-frequently lift up to 15 lbs. Some tasks may require employee to bend, stoop, twist, and turn.
