eCommerce Manager manages the development, deployment, and maintenance of e-commerce websites. Oversees e-commerce site developers to ensure that e-commerce sites are built and expanded based on evolving technology and business needs. Being an eCommerce Manager creates and implements processes and procedures for integrating e-commerce sites with backend systems, including pricing, inventory, and customer relationship databases. Requires knowledge of common web development languages (e.g., HTML, Java, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET, Python, AJAX.) Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, eCommerce Manager typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The eCommerce Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Channel Manager with a specialization in marketplace management to drive our online sales growth across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize product listings, enhance brand visibility, and maximize revenue on leading ecommerce marketplaces.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for selling products on major ecommerce marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
    • Stay informed about marketplace trends, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
    • Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings to maximize visibility and conversions.
    • Implement best practices for product titles, descriptions, images, and other elements to enhance the customer shopping experience.
    • Utilize analytics tools to monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Analyze key metrics such as sales, conversion rates, and customer reviews to drive data-driven decision-making.
    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with marketplace representatives.
    • Negotiate terms, promotions, and marketing opportunities to enhance the brand's presence on each platform.

    Qualifications

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.A/B.S.) in a related field or industry equivalent experience
    • 2-3 years in similar role is required.
    • Experience working with ecommerce product management software; Channel Advisor a plus!
    • Experience with leading ecommerce marketplaces (e.g., Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub)
    • In-depth understanding of eCommerce marketplace dynamics, algorithms, and seller tools.
    • Must be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with emphasis in reporting & analytical skills
    • Can-do attitude and ability to problem solve and think outside the box.
    • Self-directed, disciplined, high-energy, pro-active work ethic.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to meet strict deadlines.
