eCommerce Manager manages the development, deployment, and maintenance of e-commerce websites. Oversees e-commerce site developers to ensure that e-commerce sites are built and expanded based on evolving technology and business needs. Being an eCommerce Manager creates and implements processes and procedures for integrating e-commerce sites with backend systems, including pricing, inventory, and customer relationship databases. Requires knowledge of common web development languages (e.g., HTML, Java, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET, Python, AJAX.) Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, eCommerce Manager typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The eCommerce Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a dynamic Marketing and eCommerce Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our brand in the vibrant Portland market.

    As the Marketing and eCommerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, attract new members, and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for creating engaging digital and traditional marketing campaigns, managing our online presence, and optimizing the eCommerce platform to maximize conversions and customer retention.

    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our membership spa and hotel, ensuring alignment with business objectives and target audience preferences.

    2. Manage all aspects of digital marketing, including website content management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.

    3. Design and production of marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, signage, and promotional collateral, maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.

    4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, services, and membership offerings, driving customer engagement and loyalty.

    5. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

    6. Optimize the eCommerce platform, leveraging data analytics and user insights to enhance the online shopping experience and increase conversion rates.

    7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics to track campaign effectiveness, ROI, and customer acquisition cost.

    8. Cultivate strategic partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to enhance brand visibility and reach new audiences.

    9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and marketing trends to continuously innovate and improve our marketing efforts.

    10. Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing and senior leadership, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the business.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

    • Proven experience (5 years) in marketing roles, preferably in the hospitality, spa, or luxury lifestyle industry.

    • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing techniques, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media management, and online advertising.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.

    • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset.

    • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and eCommerce platforms.

    • Knowledge of local market trends and consumer preferences in the Portland area is a plus.
