eCommerce Marketing Director develops policies and plans to execute the overall vision, strategy, and capacity needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals. Evaluates and recommends e-commerce investments & initiatives and leads the development of business cases and marketing plans. Being an eCommerce Marketing Director identifies opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue using data and analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points. Partners with stakeholders across the organization to optimize digital channels. Additionally, eCommerce Marketing Director prioritizes and plans technical projects for improvements to customer experience, new e-commerce features and offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The eCommerce Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an eCommerce Marketing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. eCommerce Digital Marketing Specialist

  • Maggie’s Organics is looking for a Technical Digital Marketing Specialist to execute our e-commerce growth strategy using industry-leading technology. You will be part of a Growth team that is focused on improving full-funnel analytics. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is data-driven and hungry to learn.

    Our company is based in beautiful Dexter, Michigan, and we love our community. It is our strong preference to find someone local, but we are open to remote work for the right candidate.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute and optimize email newsletters using Mailchimp and/or other marketing automation tools to drive traffic to our ecommerce storefronts, principally maggiesorganics.com.
    • Routinely update content and pricing and look for ways to optimize conversions on ecommerce storefronts including maggiesorganics.com (BigCommerce) and Faire.
    • Facilitate execution of digital assets, campaigns, and promotions on 3rd party retailers (Faire, Amazon).
    • Help manage the Growth Team’s content calendar, which keeps track of all major sales and marketing efforts that require delivery of content, like email newsletters and social posts. This is currently managed in SmartSheet.
    • Work closely with Brand and Content colleagues to ensure that all content delivered through our digital channels is brand-aligned.
    • Work closely with the Head of Growth to execute improvements that affect SEO, conversion rates, abandoned carts, return customers, referrals, etc.
    • As needed, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to site uptime and integrations along with various 3rd party support resources.
    • Analytics and Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts. This includes generating reports and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Competitor Analysis: Monitoring competitors' digital marketing strategies and identifying opportunities or threats in the market.
    • Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring that digital marketing efforts comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as GDPR or CAN-SPAM.
    • Technology Proficiency: Staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing tools and technologies to optimize campaigns and stay competitive.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • 2 years experience with a growing ecommerce brand
    • Experience using BigCommerce (preferred) or Shopify (acceptable) and Mailchimp or Klaviyo
    • Comfort using MS Teams for collaboration
    • Interest in what our brand stands for
    • Fit with Maggie’s culture of transparency and always trying to do right by people and our planet
    • Working hours 9am-5pm M-F EST
    • If remote, occasional travel to Dexter, MI required
