eCommerce Marketing Director develops policies and plans to execute the overall vision, strategy, and capacity needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals. Evaluates and recommends e-commerce investments & initiatives and leads the development of business cases and marketing plans. Being an eCommerce Marketing Director identifies opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue using data and analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points. Partners with stakeholders across the organization to optimize digital channels. Additionally, eCommerce Marketing Director prioritizes and plans technical projects for improvements to customer experience, new e-commerce features and offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The eCommerce Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an eCommerce Marketing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     This position leads our marketing team members fostering their development within the business. The ideal candidate is a strategic business thinker who has a track record of working with ecommerce development teams and has extensive knowledge of CRM best practices.

    Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to): 

    • Lead the development of marketing strategies to support our Consumer and B2B Business Units.  
    • Collaborate with Retail, Partnership and Business Solutions teams to align marketing and sales strategies, driving new users and leads to exceed revenue goals.
    • Manage the marketing plan, execution and budget while demonstrating an ability to pivot team priorities based on inventory levels, consumer demand, and other industry factors.
    • Oversee the strategic framework and execution of HubSpot CRM automation. Evaluating current customer data flow and automation to improve the customer journey and site conversion (CRM, ESP, etc.).
    • Oversee customer experience across multiple owned and operated websites, working closely with software development team and product owner to drive
    • Establish a regular cadence for reviewing business and marketing performance.
      • Create department KPI’s for measuring marketing
      • Use data and learnings to make informed marketing and business decisions.
    • Lead and manage a cross-functional marketing team to maximize strengths and grow their skill
    • Apply a sense of urgency, team commitment and focus on the right priorities while demonstrating leadership and accountability within the team.
    • Transparent leader open to having honest conversations to move the business forward.
    • Participate in coordinated public relations efforts together with leadership and other key stakeholders (confidence with on air interviews and working with media)

     

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, advertising, or another related field
    • 7  years of experience in developing and executing ecommerce and CRM marketing  
    • Previous experience working alongside software development teams and/or a product owner.
    • Previous experience with CRM and ESP platforms
    • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices 
    • Google Analytics expertise 
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations based on consumer behavior and data insights from various platforms 
    • Demonstrable proficiency for time management, organization, and communication (written, oral and interpersonal) in a collaborative  
    • Strong organization and project management/planning skills with the ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Adapts easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling
    • Team oriented and effective at working in a collaborative environment, but also able to work

     

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Experience in managing consumer ecommerce business solutions and B2B lead generation.
    • Demonstrated experience with HubSpot, or another similar CRM automation tools.
    • Interest in the business and economics of sports and live entertainment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices across both consumer and B2B marketing.
