Fiona’s Catering is looking for an energetic and fun individual to join our team. The primary purpose of this position is responsible for the sales process, planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of in-house marketing and catered events while providing customers with exceptional customer service experience from the first inquiry to final billing. Position requires a detailed person who is capable of handling multiple tasks. Previous food service experience with a love and knowledge of good food is a must!

Example of Job Duties Include:

• Generation and delivery of customer quotes and proposals.
• Direct sales and solicitation of new business and existing business
• Manage customer/sales database.
• Produce and manage all social media marketing.
• Work in tandem with all departments on execution of all marketing initiatives including but not limited to print pieces, digital marketing and all sales/marketing events.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Work with Chef for new menu development.
• Meet company financial objectives by forecasting, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage offsite even, deliveries and sales labor expenditures.
• Ensure timely processing of client invoices while monitoring accuracy of charges for services provided.
• Oversee all details and logistics of events from set-up, transportation, service and breakdown of event.
• Maintain inventory of catering goods and equipment including upkeep, cleaning, and preventive maintenance
• Ensures staff adherence to operational guidelines and standards, compliance with all safety and security policies and the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Conducts after-event evaluations to improve quality and efficiency of events.
• Supervise sales coordinators and delivery staff Development and implementation of training plans.
• Recruiting, hiring and development of catering staff.
• Manage staff training and coaching.
• Schedule creation and proactive conflict resolution
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 -- 5 years management experience
• Excellent time management skills and ability to self-direct when necessary
• Previous catering experience a plus
• Ability to keep a calm, mature, professional demeanor at all times.
• High degree of ethics and pride with customer service
• Detail oriented with high level of organization
• Superior leadership capabilities: ability to work well within a team
• Articulate and clear mastery of English -- strong verbal communications skills
• Previous experience with managing budgeting a plus

Requirements

• Fluent in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
• Point of Sale Experience
• Prior experience utilizing social media platforms
• Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends,
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under Fiona’s Delicatessens Policy

Pay: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour
