Role Summary:

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Website Developer with specialized skills in Shopify and a passion for Direct To Consumer (DTC) e-commerce. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic marketing insights to craft compelling online shopping experiences. This full-time, direct-hire position offers competitive benefits and the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, based out of either Monroe, MI or Ann Arbor, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce sites, emphasizing user experience and interface.
• Customize site functionality and appearance using Shopify themes, Liquid templating, and APIs.
• Enhance site performance and user engagement through the integration of marketing technologies and CRM systems.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders such as brand managers and designers to ensure development aligns with brand strategy.
• Utilize performance data for web innovation and customer interaction improvements, maintaining high standards of responsive design.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Marketing, or a related field. Candidates with significant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree will be considered.
• 5 years of full-stack web development experience. Strong preference given to candidates with significant experience on Shopify and DTC platforms.
• Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS/Tailwind, JavaScript/React) and expertise in Shopify development (Liquid, custom theme development, app integrations, API utilization).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for analyzing and debugging complex issues.
• Understanding of e-commerce back-end systems (CRM, inventory management) and their Shopify integration.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with headless Shopify development, custom Shopify apps, and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet or Asana) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
• Shopify certifications, agency experience, performance optimization, scalability of e-commerce platforms, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks are a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with a proactive mindset and a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement. Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments, driving results through motivation and clear direction.
