Title: Procurement Manager

Reports To: VP of Operations and Administration

Summary of Position:

Work closely with production, managing inventory levels of critical raw components as they relate to lead-times, and consumption. Vendor setup, maintenance, and relationships. Analyze and evaluate vendor capacity, negotiating pricing. Strategic planning of inventory and supply chain management.

Duties & Responsibilities

Execute purchase orders
Build strong, ethical, business relationships with vendors
Maintain open line of communication with projects and production on upcoming needs
Confirm vendor delivery dates are in sync with project timelines
Implement cost savings, mitigating delays within supply chain
Research market projections on materials/goods, regarding forecasted issues
Maintain viable alternatives for supply chain resources
Attend production calls, monitoring pulse of upcoming materials consumption

Required Skills & Experience

BS in 4 year institution and 4 years supply chain experience.
Must have excellent phone skills/etiquette
Places high priority on maintaining internal/external relationships
Must have excellent organization and prioritizing skills
Must possess strong computer skills
Microsoft office skills (Excel) with ERP system experience
Attention to detail and accuracy a must
Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to adhere to confidentiality regarding pricing and process
Must possess strong math skills
