  • Positions Purpose: 
    Assist in managing of Americans Surplus e-commerce web product information, categorization, navigation, and online sales. Additionally, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by ensuring timely and effective communication with our clients. You will be following up with old leads that have been deemed lost due to no response. If you reach a person, you will be providing information, answering queries, and nurturing relations to facilitate the sales process and get the customers back in touch with their sales rep. Your goal is to enhance customer satisfaction, drive sales conversions and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.  

    Ideal Candidate: 
    Diligent, self-motivated individual, focused and detailed oriented with advanced computer/ data entry skills, committed to providing exceptional online support and customer service. 

    Requirements:
    • 2 years of professional ecommerce sales experience demonstrating an ability to maximize product sales through different ecommerce partners. 
    • Experience with managing ecommerce partners like eBay, Amazon, Walmart, etc.
    • Comfortable taking product photos. 
    • Experience with Paypal
    • Heavy data entry/ order entry experience
    • Proficient using Microsoft Office: Word, Excell, Outlook and Photoshop
    • Able to compose excel spreadsheets.
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to multi-task and prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Resourceful and self-motivated; able to work independently as well as in a team. 

    Job Duties:
    • Day to day downloading and listing product information on ecommerce platforms.
    • Optimizing product listings
    • Taking photos of products and performing basic photo editing
    • Writing, creating content and updates with goals towards SEO and sales. 
    • Maintaining integrity and accuracy of content
    • Printing and processing online orders.
    • Online sales tracking
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
    • Perform other administrative/ clerical/ sales support duties as assigned. 
    • Follow-up communication- initiate and maintain regular follow-up communication with leads and existing customers through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and messages.
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding products, services, pricing, and promotion. Address any concerns or issues raised by customers in a timely and professional manner.
    • Implement lead nurturing strategies to cultivate relationships with potential customers. Keep leads engaged and informed about relevant products or services to move them through the sales funnel.
    • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and product demonstrations for the sales team. 
    • Gather feedback from customers regarding their experiences with the sales proves and product/service satisfaction. Relay relevant feedback to appropriate stakeholders for continuous improvement
    • Work towards achieving sales targets and objectives set by the sales manager or team leader. Keep track of individual and team performance metrics related to follow-up activities and strive to me or exceed targets.
