What is the work?
Management / Sales / Analytics:
− Develops / executes online channel strategies using the 4 Ps of Marketing to drive dotcom growth strategy goals and department goals and objectives− Develops overall profitability strategy for the online shopping experience; establishes / manages relationships; and partners with merchant team to drive profit opportunities, ideas, and strategy− Maintains a relentless critical eye for all things related to the User Experience; aims to remove as much friction across the purchase funnel as possible− Develops expertise in online merchandising and related best practices− Collaborates with site team daily regarding site maintenance, functionality, and special projects− Reviews KPIs and web behavior metrics to generate datadriven insights and actions
− Manages product recommendations, basket builders, and trade-up strategies− Stays current with trends and competition; helps develop online competitive analysis as needed− Collaborates with Digital Marketing team to drive channel effectiveness for paid search, affiliate, e-mail, SEO, retargeting, etc.− Improves site findability through search and browse optimization activities− Analyzes ecommerce market to develop understandings of market trends and competitor strengths, weaknesses, and strategies− Collaborates with existing promotional team to support integrated omnichannel promotions− Identifies SKU mix and product assortment offerings from within retail support center-based SKU mix− Collaborates with ecommerce Marketing and Analytics team to determine timing and consumer discount structure for site-wide promotional offerings− Develops / mentors / trains team on area of expertise as needed− Serves as a thought leader, mentor, and coach within the online team
What is your background?− Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, or comparable experience− 8 years of experience in ecommerce, marketing, merchandising, and /or product management− Experience managing the marketing mix model (primarily product selection, retail pricing, and online placement)
