The Director of E-Commerce will oversee and manage the overall e-commerce strategy for the Tastes of Chicago brand (powered by the Lou Malnati’s company) to drive online revenue growth. This person will be responsible for developing and executing best-in-class e-commerce strategies to grow the business, manage our online sales channels, and optimize the digital campaigns to drive visibility, acquisition and retention. This hands-on-role will lead a variety of responsibilities including managing the platform, enhancing the customer journey, auditing and optimizing product pages to drive conversion, and analyzing funnel and transactional data to uncover growth opportunities. This role will partner with IT to manage the e-commerce platform and technology, and the Director of Marketing for Lou Malnati’s to ensure shared strategy in driving the online DTC business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive DTC e-commerce strategy that delivers a best-in-class omni channel experience and drives online revenue growth and performance across all metrics.
• Continuously evaluate and measure the website performance and customer journey to drive improved conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and own the digital merchandising strategy and product catalog management leveraging customer insights, trends and opportunity areas to optimize sales and margin.
• Lead marketing strategy and execution of campaigns in partnership with internal and agency teams.
• Develop content calendar and manage website, landing page and product updates.
• Manage overall funnel analytics and campaign performance ensuring tracking, measurement and timely reporting to inform future strategies.
• Develop and execute online sales forecast and partner with operations team on inventory planning and profitability targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, internal marketing, operations, finance to achieve business goals.
• Maintain the integrity of the e-commerce brand image and consistency of voice across multiple channels to ensure brand stays top of mind.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Proven track record developing and overseeing e-commerce strategy for DTC brand and driving revenue growth
• Deep understanding of how digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, display and affiliate channels fuel the e-commerce strategy and drive the funnel
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Proven track record leading and managing agencies, vendors and other cross-functional partners to achieve desired goals
• Strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation who has deep understanding of customer needs, product and competitive landscape
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thrive in matrix environments, and adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
• Ability to toggle between strategy and execution daily; not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10 years prior DTC/e-commerce/retail experience in a similar role as an individual contributor and managing cross-functional partners.
