This leadership position reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and oversees a team of three Regional Marketing and E-Commerce Managers responsible for driving revenue and increasing market share for Highgate’s owned and managed assets in Hawaii. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive revenue, enhance brand awareness, and increase market share across multiple properties within our regional portfolio. Additionally, you will oversee the hotel's e-commerce initiatives, including managing online distribution channels, optimizing website performance, and maximizing online revenue opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience as a marketing leader in an above property position Experience dealing with and communicating with ownership groups and asset management.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience working collaboratively with revenue management. Well rounded knowledge of all market segments and channel sources, as well as ability to develop a strategic plan for each.
Proficient in Google Analytics 4. With the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to direct, lead, train, motivate & drive a team of DOSM’s. Must be proficient in SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google tag Manager, Canva, MS Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Must be able to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
Extensive experience in project management experience
Marketing & eCommerce expertise Extensive experience in strategically developing and executing marketing strategy plans Extensive digital marketing experience
Experience working in the Hospitality and/or travel industry
Flexibility to travel within the region and work evenings and weekends as needed.
