Sentara is looking to hire a Director, IT This position may be worked remotely in Virginia or North Carolina The Director, IT is a newly created position that will be working closely with business pillars (Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and IT) to coordinate, communicate, and effectively align resources to ensure business needs are reflected in ERP functionality. This role will focus on creating a strategic roadmap that aligns organizational strategy to product functionality. A team comprised of a Test Lead and Product Manager will report into the Director, IT. The role will be responsible for the following: Organizing a governance structure responsible for platform strategic roadmap planning. The Director, IT will be responsible for overall platform strategy, ensuring connectivity across all ERP pillars as related to the user experience, and the integrity of the production environment. This critical leadership role will be tasked with chartering and organizing a recurring governance structure and supporting processes that ensure ERP functionality reflects Sentara needs. Additionally, this governance committee will be responsible for final prioritization and validation of major release changes into the production environment. Product and release management across Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain and IT Work closely with Sentara leadership in all pillars, ERP release managers, and Workday to connect the Workday release roadmap and backlog of enhancement and defect resolution requests to production environment releases. Responsible for tenant management and point of contact for Workday partnership. Manage Testing and QA Work closely with an automated testing vendor (Kainos) as a key point of contact, and ERP test team to ensure test scenarios are effectively maintained, and that all changes to production environment go through appropriate testing before release. Ensuring alignment with Sentara enterprise data governance and security standards. Ensure Sentara standards for Data Governance and Security are maintained in Workday configuration, and provisioning processes.
