eCommerce Strategy Manager implements the policies and plans to execute the overall vision, strategy, and capacity needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals. Provides support for evaluating e-commerce investments & initiatives and facilitates the development of business cases and marketing plans. Being an eCommerce Strategy Manager compiles data and analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points used to analyze opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue. Partners with stakeholders across the organization to optimize digital channels. Additionally, eCommerce Strategy Manager plans and implements technical projects for improvements to customer experience, new e-commerce features and offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The eCommerce Strategy Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Strategy Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary and Qualifications

    The position is responsible for anticipating, identifying, planning, organizing and directing strategic planning activities at the Division and individual hospital level. Position includes the coordination, development and implementation of division-wide service line growth strategies, project management oversight for key strategic initiatives, and development of strategic business plans to support major capital initiatives.

    What you will do in this role:

    • In collaboration with Hospital and Division Personnel, facilitate and monitor the strategic planning process cycle, ensuring process focus on the strategic business drivers, with focus on service line growth, service, quality, people, financial, and key community and internal relationships. Establishes hospital strategic plan review and challenges existing processes, ensuring that facility senior teams present and support targeted actions to achieve desired results around each of the key business drivers.
    • Initiate and develop market based /competitor analysis of healthcare trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance trends, and deliver data-driven analyses to support actionable strategic direction by the HCA North Carolina Division / Hospitals. Prepare and manage market studies and perform other research and analysis relating to the Division's external and internal development efforts.
    • Perform analysis of new growth / market opportunities and recommends course of action for Division/Hospitals. Assist Division and Hospital Officers in the preservation, development, growth and sales of current / new service lines and market based strategies.
    • Provide oversight and organization of key project management opportunities. Assistance level includes hands-on implementation planning assistance for any major initiative (mergers, acquisitions, hospital closures, openings, regulatory readiness, etc.) identified within the HCA North Carolina Division / Hospitals.
    • Development of key strategic presentations by request of HCA North Carolina Division officers.
    • Monitors and reports results of marketing and growth initiatives. Uses evaluation to recommend programmatic changes moving forward.
    • In collaboration with other key Hospital leaders, ensures alignment and integration of hospital and corporate resources around the facility and division strategic business plans, including the projection of capital, operating, information technology, and human resources needs.
    • Keeps current on issues, practices and new trends related to healthcare, the practice of health care administration, regulatory issues unique to California (nurse ratios, seismic issues, etc.); joint venturing; maintains and awareness of developments in the health care industry including local conditions, economic/regulatory issues and competitors to develop strategies to respond to such trends.
    • Performs other duties as may be assigned.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Master’s degree in business, statistics, market research, marketing, public relations, health administration or a related field
    • Ten years previous experience in healthcare consulting, health care strategic planning, business development, and/or financial planning
    • Strong project management skills; Ability to coordinate and manage complex projects and multiple tasks
    • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
    • Demonstrates strategic and analytical ability to formulate and implement short and long range plans and achieve targeted outcomes.
    • Experience creating and delivering executive-level presentations
    • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
    • Strong team and leadership skills
    • Hands-on experience leading business development activities
    • Ability to facilitate large group discussions
    • Knowledge of healthcare industry and related issues
    • Proficient in applicable information systems
