eCommerce Strategy Manager implements the policies and plans to execute the overall vision, strategy, and capacity needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals. Provides support for evaluating e-commerce investments & initiatives and facilitates the development of business cases and marketing plans. Being an eCommerce Strategy Manager compiles data and analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points used to analyze opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue. Partners with stakeholders across the organization to optimize digital channels. Additionally, eCommerce Strategy Manager plans and implements technical projects for improvements to customer experience, new e-commerce features and offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The eCommerce Strategy Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Strategy Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Responsibilities:
- Organize upcoming projects by creating job folders.
- Order and track components.
- Coordinate with internal salespersons for site visits.
- Design crane systems within budget to match customer applications.
- Provide support for approval layout drawings from site visits.
- Assist draftsmen in creating detailed drawings.
- Support fabrication and installation teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Order equipment and trucking on a weekly basis.
- Maintain regular communication with customers on project schedules.
- Create manuals for managed projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
- Professional customer interaction skills
- Knowledge of fabrication processes (structural steel experience is a plus)
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software (Pro E, Solid Works, etc.)
- Ability to field measure and layout a project.
- Capability to conceive project concepts while in the field with the customer.
- Ensure all project steps are addressed in a timely manner.
Physical Ability Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Mobility throughout the facility to communicate with other departments.
- Use of a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone for extended periods
