eCommerce Strategy Manager implements the policies and plans to execute the overall vision, strategy, and capacity needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals. Provides support for evaluating e-commerce investments & initiatives and facilitates the development of business cases and marketing plans. Being an eCommerce Strategy Manager compiles data and analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points used to analyze opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue. Partners with stakeholders across the organization to optimize digital channels. Additionally, eCommerce Strategy Manager plans and implements technical projects for improvements to customer experience, new e-commerce features and offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The eCommerce Strategy Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Strategy Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Summary

    Directs warehousing activities for the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors at our warehouse in Escondido.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
    • Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
    • Prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for the replacement of equipment.
    • Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
    • Directs salvage of damaged or used material.
    • Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
    • Perform warehouse duties and responsibilities as needed.
    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Directly supervises 4 to 10 employees in the Warehouse. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
