The manager of Human Resources will work with & support business leaders on critical functions such as hiring, performance management, policies and exits. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Guide leaders and employees regarding Company policies, values, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner.
· Create policies and procedures for hiring and onboarding.
· Provide full support for conducting background checks, inputting new hires, status changes, exits, and data integrity.
· Liaison with ADP to customize platform for EC-Council business operations.
· Keep employee handbooks up to date for each state where we have offices.
· Ensure company documents, policies, and activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA)
· Assist leadership in performance management and developing effective pipeline and succession plans.
· Lead and participate in Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and employee engagement activities.
· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
· Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations
· Anticipate employee related situations and provide counsel to associates and managers to resolve through open communications.
· Investigate employee concerns, conduct internal audits, and implement appropriate resolution.
Required skills, qualifications, and experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, psychology, or another related field preferred.
· At least 5 years of HR experience
· Experience with ADP is a plus.
· Understanding of, and some experience with, core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; labor relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
· Strong skills in PowerPoint/Excel/Word
· Experience with HR functions including compensation, benefits, EEO, employee relations, staffing and HR practices and policies.
· Ability to understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.
· Be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal skills) and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
