eCommerce Strategy Manager implements the policies and plans to execute the overall vision, strategy, and capacity needed to support organizational long-term and short-term e-commerce sales growth goals. Provides support for evaluating e-commerce investments & initiatives and facilitates the development of business cases and marketing plans. Being an eCommerce Strategy Manager compiles data and analytics to study traffic, trends, customer touchpoints, and pain points used to analyze opportunities for innovation and expansion of customer engagement and revenue. Partners with stakeholders across the organization to optimize digital channels. Additionally, eCommerce Strategy Manager plans and implements technical projects for improvements to customer experience, new e-commerce features and offerings. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The eCommerce Strategy Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an eCommerce Strategy Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The US Oncology Business Insights Senior Manager is accountable for developing and communicating actionable insights that optimally shape brand strategy and tactics based on a combination of primary research and secondary data across customer segments – HCP and Consumer. The Insights Senior Manager will use sound market research along with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to support brand teams in making strategic decisions, informing brand performance and forecasts, and developing promotional campaigns, and arguments. The keys to success in this position are superlative communication, consultative, and influencing skills predicated on a strong foundation of primary market research skills and secondary data analysis proficiency. This job may require occasional travel for research.

    Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

    • Develop, deliver, and execute market research and insight plans that support the brand strategy
    • Lead primary market research design and execution (including vendor/project management) with minimal supervision
    • Compile, analyze, and visualize findings from secondary marketing and/or sales data (including identification and appropriate use of data sources).
    • Provide brand and market evaluation, interpretation, and communication of results synthesizing key data and insights spanning a host of different sources and types of data
    • Build insightful reports and presentations that clearly and succinctly highlight the actionable insights combined with business implications/strategic & tactical options
    • Work with the Pricing and Market Access Insight team to ensure that payer insights are integrated
    • Identify business needs dedicatedly and build research/analysis with foresight
    • Develop and maintain market research budgets
    • Maintain effective relationships with contractors and other third-party vendors through oversight of the vendor management process
    • Lead KPI tracking for the brand, including brand equity and quantitative tracking
    • Leverage/apply AZ insight best practices as appropriate

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
    • 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience
    • 3 years of primary market research and analytical experience applying various primary research techniques and secondary analysis to inform business decisions
    • Proven ability to influence laterally and vertically

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Advanced degree in relevant field
    • Pharmaceutical or consumer Insight experience
    • 5 years of primary healthcare market research experience
    • Oncology experience
