JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Provide data analysis to support assessment and decision making in Undergraduate Studies. Manage the end of term Student Course Reports process using Class Climate. Manage the development of the undergraduate and graduate course schedules with a focus on efficient use of academic space. Work with the academic departments and faculty governance to maintain the undergraduate and graduate catalogs.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:

Serve as the administrator providing functional support of the Scantron Class Climate system and reporting environment (used for faculty/course evaluations).

Create and modify email text, surveys, and reports in Class Climate.

Manage roles and assign permissions for administrative users of the Class Climate system.

Coordinate the Instructor Optional Questions process in Class Climate.

Work with IT on Workday integration, upgrades to the Class Climate system and integration with Canvas learning management system.

Provide reports to the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Department Heads, various faculty governance committees

Work with IT on requirements, documentation, and testing of multiple technology projects, continued development of Workday report functionalities and implementation of Clean Catalog.

Work with the academic deans and department heads in the development of the course schedules. Analyze trends in student enrollment to help predict demand for courses.

Work with the academic deans and the Office of the Registrar in the implementation of the course schedule by providing reports that allow visualization of past year's course offerings.

Analyze the use of academic space and report to the Provost regarding efficiency of current allocation needs for new academic space.

Provide data analysis support for academic program assessment, including data from student course reports, project assessments, and WPI participation in national surveys.

Work closely with the Office of Institutional Research and Information Analysts across campus to coordinate data management for analysis and planning.

Manage the editing and production of the undergraduate and graduate catalogs. Track and record course and program changes, and ensure faculty-voted changes to courses are incorporated in the catalogs.

Act as a resource for faculty governance committees, including CAO and CGSR. Capture academic program changes and policy changes approved at faculty meetings and ensure these changes are incorporated in Workday, on-line, and in the relevant course catalogs.

Attends meetings of various faculty governance committees (CGSR, CAO, OSCAR, faculty meetings)

Develop drafts of academic calendars for consideration by the president and the division heads.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 7-10 years of experience in an academic environment (i.e. planning, information technology, etc).

Significant experience with academic planning and data analysis for support of decision making.

Strong background in advanced data management software. Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Workday with the ability to learn new systems quickly; familiarity with Argos and 25-Live a plus.

Very strong communication skills with an unnatural love for detail.

Ability to work on tasks concurrently and manage to deadlines.
