Established office in Rock Hill, SC. Looking for a detailed person with knowledge of simple to complex tax returns and up to date on new tax laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities Include: Organize tax documents, prepare returns and advise clients on current tax law changes and advise on preparation for upcoming tax year. Bookkeeping experience in Quickbooks online and desktop. Ability to read financial statements, reconcile accounts and post adjusting journal entries as needed.

Qualifications: 3 years tax preparation, knowledge of Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks online, Ultratax, excel.

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Duties: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements - Conduct regular account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or errors - Perform cash flow analysis to monitor the company's liquidity and make recommendations for improvement - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, including securities law and wills trusts estate law - Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Conduct audits to ensure financial integrity and identify areas for improvement - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting practices Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Proven experience working as an Accountant or similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures - Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to the success of our organization, we encourage you to apply for this position.
