We are looking for an Accounts Receivable specialist to join our team! This position will have responsibility for collecting overdue payments, utilizing skills in project management, organization and communications. Other duties that fall under the umbrella of accounts receivable include tracking payments, making bank deposits and running reports that document profits and losses for our organization. 

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will process various transactions, including but not limited to:

• Invoice orders in accounting software for multiple company locations
• Enter invoices into customer portals
• Submit invoices by electronic data interchange
• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, ACH, wires and credit card transactions
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries/credit memos
• Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line and making collection calls
   

Requirements

Qualifications/Certifications/Experience:
 

• Associate's degree in Accounting desired, but not required
• 3 years of recent Accounts Receivable experience
• Proficient in Windows-based software, Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel experience
• Experience working with Quickbooks and Net Suite, preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Organization and time management skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
   

Work Environment:

• This position operates in an office environment, and will be located on-site in The Dalles, OR.
