Ambulance Driver jobs in Oregon

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required in Oregon

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 yrs of age or older: Required in OR
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Healthcare Provider: Preferred in Oregon
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) or equivalent: Preferred

Essential Functions:

• Picks up and delivers patients from and to designated health facilities.
• Operates required emergency vehicle(s) in a safe manner to perform required duties of position and operates radio and dispatch communication systems. Utilizes maps to locate hospitals, medical facilities, and home addresses.
• Reports accidents/incidents to the Supervisor, as soon as they occur and in line with company procedure.
• Participates in continuing education which demonstrates employee commitment to improving capabilities.
• Communicates effectively and efficiently with staff and patients.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
