Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for the annuities application process. Assists applicants and checks forms for completeness and accuracy. Being an Annuities Representative (New Business) ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Reviews all fund transfers such as tax-free fund transfers, direct transfers and direct rollovers for completeness and compliance. Additionally, Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for responding to inquiries from clients, agents, financial institutions and internal departments. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) license. The Annuities Representative (New Business) works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     Your responsibilities

    thyssenkrupp is searching for a New Business Development person for our southern region. This position will work with our quality team generating new business for our quality services division. This position will work on the road and remotely (when not traveling). Responsibilities for this position include:

    • Selling (outside sales) the Quality Inspection and other tkSCS services as applicable.
    • Able to build a customer base in the Charleston region.
    • Cold calling/ presenting to perspective Customers. Keeping an active list of potential accounts.
    • Understand Customer needs and assist with creating quotes and customer solutions.
    • Gain a good understanding of who the local competitors are and what they offer in the region.
    Your profile

    Required Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in an outside sales roll.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Previous experience in quality, manufacturing, staffing and automotive assembly would be an asset.
    • Computer literate in excel and Microsoft.
    • Able to learn CRM and the tk quoting system.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience in selling quality services.
    • Previous experience in manufacturing or automotive assembly.
    • Previous warehouse experience
