Applications Programming Supervisor supervises the teams and daily activities needed for the analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications. Monitors operational metrics and processes and implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Being an Applications Programming Supervisor supports multiple development projects with scheduling, planning, and resource allocation. Conducts feedback processes, including peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews. Additionally, Applications Programming Supervisor fosters a performance culture using individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence. May supervise vendors or off-shore resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Applications Programming Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Applications Programming Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Functions include:- CNC programming and troubleshooting
- Directly responsible for fixture design, process development, implementation, and improvement.
- Directly responsible for inspection method programming, development, implementation, and improvement.
- Directly responsible for airflow tooling design, programming, process development, implementation, and improvement.
- Submits requests to purchasing for fixtures and manages arrival for required testing/production date.
- Performs additional duties from time to time as requested by the supervisor.
- Assists teammates as needed.
Requirements:
CNC programming: 5 years (Required)
GD&T and applications: 5 years (Required)
CAD: 5 years (Required)
Work authorization (Required)
Bachelor's (Preferred)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Thorough knowledge of CAD design methodology and implementation
Minimum 4-year Degree in related field or sufficient work experience
Understands part qualification process and is familiar with customer requirements.
Understands engineering drawings and part models.
Strong understanding of GD&T and applications
Understands and has managed projects.
Understands quality system and requirements as related to the position.
Practices proper safety guidelines and wears appropriate Personal Protection Equipment when required.
Ability to sit at a computer terminal or at a machine for long periods of time.
Ability to be physically in attendance at the workstation designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position.
Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to travel up to ten percent (10%) of the time.
An essential function for this position, based on business necessity, is that the employee must be physically in attendance at his/her workstation at the designated company office location during the normal business hours designated for the position.
Other assignments as given from time to time by the supervisor and management.Must be located or in the process of moving to the Fountain Inn/Greenville, SC area
Must provide authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen upon office visit
Willing to submit to random drug testing.
Ability to follow instructions and follow safety guidelines.
