Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) conducts residential real estate appraisals to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting on-site property inspections, data collection, and research relevant market conditions required to perform valuations. Being an Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Additionally, Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary:
Opening for a full-time Real Estate Paralegal/Legal Assistant. Ideal candidate will be motivated, highly organized and must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Paralegal Certification from ABA approved program preferred, but not required.
Preferred Real Estate experience which should include Real Estate Closings, Title Insurance, reviewing and preparing commitments/policies from abstract title documents, updating title and recording documents, ordering and reviewing UCC and judgment searches as well as knowledge of Real Estate Trust Accounts. Experience in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to handle a large workload.
Also, Qualia experience is a plus.
· Willingness to Learn and assist in overall production of closing
· Open a file from Receipt of Contract
· Review Contract Stipulations
· Request title work and review title abstract
· Prepare preliminary title documents to lender to include title commitment
· Prepare final closing packages for attorney
· Funding and disbursing all loans
· Order mortgage payoffs, hazard insurance declaration pages, termite reports for files.
· Audit files for satisfactions of any liens paid at closing
· Maintain an organized and structured day to day of responsibilities
