We are in need of a tech-savvy organizing expert to help us organize an abundance of digital notes and photos into a well-organized and easily maintained digital archive. The main goal is to create a system that allows for quick and efficient retrieval of information whenever needed. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in digital archiving.
This project involves creating a folder structure and implementing a naming convention from files primarily created in Apple’s Notes application. Familiarity with digital archiving software and tools is a plus. The digital records archivist must be organized and possess a serious understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
We expect the project to take approximately 4 hours a day, 3 days a week for approximately 4 to 6 weeks, ideally beginning at the end of May. This is an on-site role, not remote. You would primarily be working in a retired executive’s Sausalito home, where the files, images, and equipment reside, thus you would need to be respectful, trustworthy and have a problem-solving aptitude.
