Provides internal clients with design standards, tools, and guidance on communicating corporate image, branding, and identity. Being an Art Manager oversees the design and production operations of all visual elements including publications, infographics, and social content, that are deployed across digital, interactive and print. Monitors projects and timelines. Additionally, Art Manager stays current on latest trends. Develops and manages a network of vendors, freelance artists, and designers to utilize for project support. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Art Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. The School of Humanities and Sciences is creating a pool of qualified part-time lecturers in the Department of Art, Art History, and Architecture for Studio Art area course for possible openings for Spring 2024. We seek candidates to teach courses at various levels, including introductory, in the disciplines of painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, graphic design, and digital media (note: photography is housed in the Park School of Communications, not Studio Art). In the studio arts, the department offers BA and BFA degrees in Art and minors in Art and Graphic Design.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants must hold an MFA, MA, or Ph.D. degree in the field, and college teaching experience is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered, depending on course and level.
