Assistant Campus Recreation Director administers and promotes all non-varsity, club (intramural) sports and wellness program. Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Job Summary
The Graduate Assistant for Campus Recreation will be responsible for managing all aspects of Campus Recreation including Club Sports, Intramurals and Campus Wellness Classes. Responsible for creating an environment that values and promotes the student experience. The Graduate Assistant will also assist in general Student Involvement duties.
