Assistant Campus Recreation Director administers and promotes all non-varsity, club (intramural) sports and wellness program. Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     Position Highlights
    • Contribute to the development of an interdisciplinary plan of care/resident service plan.
    • Facilitate group and individual activities and encourage patient/resident and family involvement in activities based on patient/resident interest, preferences and life story.
    • Provide resources and materials to address the special interest of patients/residents for independent engagement;
    • Make recommendations regarding recreation equipment/supplies required to meet the needs of the patients/residents and assures that adequate supplies are available.
    • Assist in transporting patients/residents to and from Recreation programs.
