Assistant Campus Recreation Director administers and promotes all non-varsity, club (intramural) sports and wellness program. Plans and organizes campus-wide recreational programs for all students, faculty, and staff. Being an Assistant Campus Recreation Director may supervise student staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Assistant Campus Recreation Director typically reports to Campus Recreation Director. The Assistant Campus Recreation Director supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Support faculty with alignment with all TCA policies and procedures Oversee and facilitate, in collaboration with school counselor, PBIS and tiered systems of support Collaborate with the counselor regarding SWIS data management Attend IEP meetings and act as liaison with the classroom teacher Support faculty with family engagement practices Partner with the Director in building family and other stakeholder relationships Oversee student services, including IEP, 504, and related district and family relationships Supervise and evaluate paraprofessionals Support the Director with: EEC licensure process Facilities and technology needs and management Budget planning and development School schedules Learning plans for all faculty Curriculum implementation and material inventory/ ordering Classroom observations and teacher evaluation Candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications: MA degree in Education, teaching experience A commitment to and love for urban Catholic education The ability to effectively communicate, both orally and through written word, as a face and voice of Trinity Catholic Academy Superb organizational skills and the ability to multitask Flexibility needed to adjust to the school day Proficiency with the use of technology, particularly Google Suite High standards of professionalism and confidentiality
