The assistant principal supports the campus principal and helps manage the day-to-day operations of the Upper School. The assistant principal oversees student behavior, the Student Life program, and campus safety. Through collaboration with teachers, parents, and students, the assistant principal helps create and maintain a culture of learning at the school. The assistant principal will also work closely with the principal, guidance department, dean of instruction, and educational support department to enable success for students and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have:A deep and growing faith in Jesus Christ.
- A master’s degree, preferably in education and administrative credential/certification, and experience teaching at the high school level.
- Excellent communication and conflict-management skills.
The desire to be a key member of the Annapolis Area Christian School community and Upper School Leadership Team.
