Assisted Living Program Administrator oversees all activities of an assisted living program, including marketing, census development, and community relations. Develops strategic plans for maximizing occupancy and achieving profitability. Being an Assisted Living Program Administrator ensures that resident services meet quality standards and that the facility operates within budget while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Assisted Living Program Administrator requires state administrator license. Typically reports to senior management. The Assisted Living Program Administrator manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Assisted Living Program Administrator typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Administrator will oversee the staff, manage finances, ensure compliance with state regulations, and lead initiatives to enhance the quality of life for residents. This position requires a combination of leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Administrator must have a valid state license, extensive experience in senior care, and knowledge of facility management and healthcare regulations. The Administrator is expected to provide compassionate, high-quality care to all residents and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

    Assisted Living Administrator Duties

    • Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs for the operation of the assisted living facility
    • Supervise staff, including hiring, training and evaluating personnel
    • Ensure residents' safety, health and well-being
    • Develop and manage a budget for the facility
    • Maintain records, licensures and certifications
    • Interact with residents and their families and other members of the health care team
    • Provide direction to staff regarding resident care and services
