WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THE LEAD CAREGIVER/RESIDENT ASSISTANT

We are looking for a Lead Caregiver/Resident Assistant who is dependable, respectful, friendly, and compassionate to assist our residents with their activities of daily living (ADLs).

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LEAD CAREGIVER/RESIDENT ASSISTANT

Caregivers are responsible for assisting our residents with all ADLs, which may include assisting with dressing/undressing, personal laundry, reminders, safety checks, using the restroom, personal hygiene needs, showering, transfers, and all other needs as stated in each resident's Service Plan. Caregivers are also responsible for assisting residents during an emergency, up to and including safe evacuation of the community.

Additional responsibilities of the Lead Caregiver/Resident Assistant include participating in the recruiting and hiring of new care staff. This position trains new and existing staff members to ensure community standards are being met.

SCHEDULE OF THE LEAD CAREGIVER/RESIDENT ASSISTANT

The Lead Caregiver/Resident Assistant is scheduled full time. This position shares on-call responsibility several days per week to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
