Assoc. Professor - Dentistry teaches courses in the discipline area of dentistry. Professor - Dentistry provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Dentistry typically reports to a department head. The Research Assistant Professor (RAP) position is reserved for highly proficient and productive fellow who is ready to transition to an independent investigator in the next two to three years. Specifically for this position, the responsibilities of this particular RAP position include: 1) to perform cutting-edge multi-omics analysis on biospecimens, such as virus-infected cells, tumor tissues from mouse and patients. 2) to manage a mass spectrometer that is performed with proficiency and excellence to meet the metabolic and proteomic needs of the Section of Infection and Immunity, including external collaborations. 3) to supervise junior trainees in the Section of Infection and Immunity, including research assistants, graduate students and early-stage postdoctoral fellows. 4) to provide support for experiments and training for fellows who are involved in research with BSL3 level of pathogens. This highly qualified individual will work closely with the PIs to coordinate major research development in the Section of Infection and Immunity.
The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000 - $80,000.
